Module 7 Presentation of results
The presentation of results leads to: ď‚›
Recognizing the participation of the communities in the information gathering process.
ď‚›
Sharing the findings and the results of the work that has been carried out.
ď‚›
Defining concrete actions that need to occur to move forward in the project design process.
AMEXTRA’s experience has helped us develop the following steps for presenting results.
1. Presentation of results
Briefly share the results that have been obtained, taking care to give a respectable and respectful summary.
Do not focus only on problems; make sure you also give a general overview of all the information obtained through the tools used.
Emphasize to your audience that the results are a reflection of the community’s ideas and information.
Thank everybody for their participation.
Ranking solutions ď‚› List
the problems and solutions proposed by the community, then vote on the solutions that are viable.
Defining accords and a plan of action ď‚› This
helps us understand the community’s wishes so we can begin to work in that direction.
The information we gather is useful to: Define
local plans of action.
Create
projects that are congruent with the reality and needs of the community.
On
an institutional level, lead us towards establishing strategic guidelines or core concepts.
Establish
a base line before the organization begins its involvement.
Generate
new long-range projects within the community and neighboring communities.
