CHARACTER

por María del Carmen Fabro Reyes

To forge your character, you need to be smart about the decisions you make every day. The sum of all these little actions will end up making you stronger.

Character is defined as the temperament and personality of someone, but this does not come from birth, it is forged throughout life where our environment, culture and social status are highly involved. It is a drive that helps us become stronger day by day. Character distinguishes us as individuals.

Habits are an important key to build your own character, this is why having good practices such as respect, perseverance, assertiveness, self-confidence and responsibility are necessary in life.

There are three vital elements for building your character: emotions, activity and response.

Some characteristics of someone with a strong character are: l Make mistakes, but try again without blinking. l Fight even when they feel defeated. l Perform tasks they fear. l Keep emotions under control. l Giving more than they take. l Keep going, even if nobody else follows them. l Comply with impossible deadlines and deliver results that exceed expectations. l Focus on the details even with a foggy mind. l Take responsibility for their actions.
