Firstly, praise be to Allah S.W.T for with his grace and blessings, we are gathered here at this historic 58th Convocation Ceremony. On behalf of UTM, I warmly welcome all distinguished guests, parents, families, alumni and invited guests to this convocation ceremony. WWW.UTM.MY

NUMBER OF GRADUATING STUDENTS
At this 58th Convocation Ceremony, a total of 2,842 graduands will be conferred their respective degrees, as follows: 366 Doctor of Philosophy degrees, 852 Master’s degrees, 725 Bachelor’s degrees, 88 Diplomas and 811 Diplomas from the UTMSPACE Collaboration Programmes WWW.UTM.MY
UTM INTERNATIONAL GRADUATES
From this total, 313 graduands are international graduands from 28 countries. For the record, up to this 58th Convocation, UTM has produced a total of 182,456 graduands of whom 7,464 are international graduands from more than 70 countries. Heartiest Congratulations to all graduands!

CONGRATULATORY REMARKS
At this Convocation Ceremony, we have the privilege of honouring our honorary doctorate award recipient, Professor Emeritus Takeshi Matsuura, in recognition of his significant contribution to UTM and the global community in the field of membrane. The ceremony this morning also celebrates Dr. Mohd Amin Alias and Dr. Md. Nor Musa who will be conferred the title of Emeritus Professor for their invaluable service and contribution to UTM.
