POMPEA COLLEGE OF BUSINESS GRADUATE PROGRAMS 1 / 2 NEWHAVEN.EDU/BUSINESS

A MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN Welcome to the Pompea College of Business and its impressive roster of graduate programs. Every one of the programs described in this brochure represents a higher degree of success — not just because they reside in one of the top 5% of business colleges in the world but also because the knowledge, skills, and valuable networks you gain through these programs will help lead you to one career success after another. We offer several STEM-certified business programs that are career-makers. In fact, we are a national leader in STEM-certified business programs. Our M.S. in Accounting, M.S. in Business Analytics, M.S. in Finance, M.S. in Sport Management, and MBA degree programs are among a handful of AACSB-accredited business program nationwide to have received STEM certification. STEM-certified business programs are the 21st century’s answer to the exponential explosion of raw data that businesses need to make sense of. Those with science, technology, engineering, and math skills and an aptitude for data analysis are becoming more crucial to the success of companies and differentiate themselves from other job applicants. Furthermore, such professionals are no longer confined to a separate analytics or data department. They are now embedded throughout companies and play a critical role in decision-making. As you review our programs and refine your focus, visualize the career success that can be yours through the academic success that is ours — AACSB-accredited programs, a STEMcertified program leader, a designation from U.S. News & World Report as a top-tier comprehensive university in the North U.S.A., and a rating by The Princeton Review 2022 as one of the best 387 Colleges. Sincerely,

Brian T. Kench, Ph.D. Dean, Pompea College of Business

STEM-Designated Programs To earn the federal government’s STEM designation, programs must focus heavily on the fields of science, technology, engineering, or math. STEM-designated education programs make it possible for international graduates to work in the U.S. for an additional 24 months after graduation, with the option to work for up to three years without H1B visa sponsorship.
