University Foundation Committee

We would like to acknowledge the time and effort of the University Foundation Committee (UFC) members in providing governance and guidance for philanthropic activity at the University.

Reporting to the University Council, the UFC oversees the University’s philanthropic policies and practices.

We were delighted to welcome Vice-Chancellor Professor Rufus Black to the role of UFC Chair in 2020. Key areas of focus in 2020 included a major review of philanthropic funds under management, and the introduction of a new annual report for donors about these funds. Thank you to UFC members for leading and supporting philanthropy. Their efforts ensure donors’ interests and the highest standard of philanthropic management are upheld.
