A First Look at UH Ahuja Medical Center’s Phase 2 Expansion

Intended as a facility that would grow and evolve with the community, UH Ahuja Medical Center charged forward with a $236 million expansion that almost doubles the size of the medical center’s footprint while revolutionizing the way we deliver care.

“As an anchor institution on Cleveland’s east side, UH Ahuja is evolving to meet the needs of our residents,” said UH Ahuja’s Chief Operating Officer Percival Kane, Jr., MHA. Opened to the public in June 2023, UH Ahuja Phase 2 brings world-class care closer to home for residents on the east side, while at the same time allowing UH caregivers to provide an enhanced patient experience.
