WOMEN'S SQUAD

Summary

April saw the conclusion of the BUCS campaign for the Men's Football club. The 1s finished second in the league behind Cardiff Met 1s, and reached the semi- final of the Men's National Trophy, though sadly lost 2-0 to Loughborough 2s

Our 2s had a great season and stayed well and truly in the Tier 1 division, drawing with UWE 1s in their final game The 3s did not fare so well and were relegated from a very competitive division 2B – but we will regroup and come back stronger in the new season.

The 4s and 5s consolidated their places in Division 4B – with the 5s narrowly missing out on promotion. The 6s were comfortably placed mid-table, and we will be striving to achieve some promotions and Cup runs next season

As ever, the S&C programme was instrumental in the success of the club, and Will and Dan worked hard to keep the players fit and healthy.

Veo Camera Livestream

The VEO camera was a great success, allowing us to livestream the matches to Alumni It was also beneficial for post-match analysis and preparation for upcoming return fixtures.

Gps Trackers

This season we were presented with the opportunity to use the GPS trackers These identified the statistics for individual players, including top speed, distance covered, acceleration, sprints etc

This presented the players with vital information to help improve their performance, and we are hoping to extend the use of GPS trackers into the new season
