UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS Scholarships

The University of Dayton awards international merit scholarships to selected first-year and transfer undergraduate international applicants.

To apply to the University of Dayton, you must send: • Application, including the essay.

Application Information

• Official secondary transcript (in the language of original issue) of all previously attended secondary schools, including dates of attendance, all subjects studied, grades earned and marks achieved on examinations; any transcripts not issued in English must be accompanied by a certified English translation.

Costs for our undergraduate programs include tuition, living expenses and miscellaneous expenses such as mandatory health and accident insurance, computer, transportation, clothing, books, etc.

Apply online at udayton.edu/apply/international. Because the University of Dayton is a member of the Common Application group, you can also apply through the Common Application. If you apply online, there is no application fee.

GRADUATE PROGRAMS Assistantships

Graduate assistantships, covering the cost of tuition and fees, are available each year and are awarded through the departments based on academic excellence. To be considered for an assistantship, submit the online admission application (udayton.edu/apply/international).

Application Information

You are encouraged to apply online (udayton.edu/apply/ international). Paper applications are available upon request. There is a $50 (U.S.) application fee for submitted applications, and the application will not be processed until the fee is received.

If you are academically qualified but do not meet the minimum requirements for English proficiency, you may be conditionally admitted to the University with the agreement that you will attend our Intensive English Program. • Other requirements for the academic program.
