WELCOME TO THE UNIVERSITY OF EXETER OFFER-HOLDER VISIT DAY Congratulations on receiving your offer of a place at the University of Exeter Choosing your university is an important decision and we hope that this Offer-Holder Visit Day will give you all the information you need to help you make that decision. This brochure is designed to help you get the most out of the experience. We recommend you take time to plan your day so that you don’t miss an important talk or tour. You may like to use the timetable on the back page to help you do this.

Planning your day Prior to your visit, please familiarise yourself with your subject-specific itinerary. The most recent version can be downloaded from your booking page: www.exeter.ac.uk/ visitdays. We would encourage you to attend a mixture of the subject-specific activities and the other tours and presentations that are detailed in this brochure.

Registration Please remember to bring your registration documents and ticket with you on the day, as you will require this for registration. Upon arrival please go to the Information Stand in the Forum (Streatham Campus, building 3 on the map on page 9) and South Cloisters (St Luke’s Campus building 11 on the map on page 10) to register. If you are attending a Wednesday Offer-Holder Visit Day and using the West Point Arena Park and Ride service, Student Ambassadors will be on hand to register you before you board a bus. Parents and guests Some parts of the day are intended for students only and are clearly indicated on your subject-specific itinerary. Whilst students undertake these activities, parents and guests may wish to talk to staff at the Information Fair in the Forum, Streatham Campus (building 3 on the map on page 9), attend a campus or accommodation tour, or one of the non-subject presentations listed on page 4.

You may be particularly interested in attending the ‘Why Choose Exeter?’ presentation, where a member of the senior management team and current undergraduate students will explain what makes Exeter such an extraordinary community of scholars and academics. Presentation details can be found on page 4. Catering Marked on the map index on pages 9 and 10 are the locations where you can get light refreshments throughout the day. There will also be a Farmers’ Market on the Main Piazza at the Streatham Campus, selling locally produced food. Emergencies and first aid In case of an emergency, please contact the nearest member of staff. Visitors with disabilities/additional requirements Please visit our AccessAbility and Wellbeing stands at the Information Fair to meet our staff who are committed to supporting students, staff and visitors with additional needs.

Choose Exeter Exeter is such a community because you end up knowing a lot of people, so I can’t walk onto campus without seeing someone I know, not just people in my year, but in years above as well. As it is a campus it means I am always here and after classes I will go to the library. The whole atmosphere and learning environment helps you get involved both academically and socially. Lara from Barnet, studying Business and Management
