The University of Exeter at COP26: The Global Carbon Budget

Reaching Climate Goals by Reducing Carbon Emissions

The 16th annual Global Carbon Budget will be published on the 4th of November 2021. Led by Professor Pierre Friedlingstein of the University of Exeter’s Global Systems Institute, the annual budget reveals the latest trends in global carbon emissions and the ramifications for reaching our global climate goals.

Professor Friedlingstein and colleagues, including Professor Corinne Le Quéré of the University of East Anglia, will discuss their findings with scientists, journalists and others in Glasgow. The Global Carbon Budget 2021 Report will be presented at COP26 by Professor Pierre Friedlingstein on the 4th November, 9:30-10:30, at the Science Pavilion.
