The techniques I’ve learned in innovation have helped me connect the dots from challenges I encountered during my career as an IT consultant, and during the Consultancy Project where I was able to solve real-life problems for businesses. Ayan Chatterjee (MBA, 2018)

Bringing innovative business thinking to your organisation Engaging with The Exeter MBA on a consultancy project is a great way for you to benefit from our talented, international professionals applying their innovative business thinking from a forwardlooking, cutting edge accredited MBA, to a business challenge you are facing. Our students, in the past, have worked with all types of organisations on issues ranging from developing the regional innovation ecosystem of the South West to defining the vision of a circular and healthy food system in an urban setting. Take a look at our project videos (nos 5 – 11) to see the impact and value that these projects have provided.
The project process n From
November to February, the students will be thinking through their different project options. If they are interested in exploring a project with your organisation, I will be in touch to make an introduction; they may also connect with you on LinkedIn. We are working towards 1 March for all students to have their projects.
n The
student will work with you, supported by their academic supervisor, to develop their project idea further and to produce their project proposal which they will need to have completed by 5 May.
n Students
will conduct their project between April and September, producing a consultancy report. Please bear in mind that, during this period, the student will still have modules and course work to complete, with the last module, for some students, not finishing until the end of June. We will be asking you for feedback on the student.
It was a joy working with Jumana on her project. Her work far exceeded what we would have expected and provided a great mix of well-researched theoretical insights into the challenges of collecting and using experience data, as well as practical recommendations for SAP. Mike Jordan, Global Portfolio Manager for Technology Innovations & Academic ambassador and Dr. Stuart Clarke, Principal Consultant, Analytics and Insight EMEA2 SAP
This was the first time we had engaged with the final year consultancy project process with The Exeter MBA. I am delighted with the level of insight, professionalism and collaboration from Gemma. The process was managed seamlessly from Exeter, Gemma was well supported by her academic tutor and produced important thinking for our organisation. Many thanks! Fiona McNae, CEO Space Doctors Ltd

The digital revolution is transforming business and society
Inspiring leaders for a better world
It has been an absolute pleasure to oversee Paula’s MBA project. She has helped identify gaps in harmonising measurement of embodied carbon in the built environment with Environment Agency (EA) as a case study. She also explored the use of digital technologies such as block chain in measuring and monitoring embodied carbon and provided insightful recommendations for the EA. Her work will be very useful in helping us find solutions to one of society’s biggest challenges which is meeting the NetZero target and addressing the wider climate and ecological emergency.
