100% The UK’s only University where all our permanent teaching staff are fellows of the Higher Education Academy *

Logistics, transport and supply chain management are all about the efficient and effective movement of products and people for business and pleasure. Our courses cover core business management subject areas combined with specialist elements such as aviation, purchasing and supply, manufacturing operations, strategic supply chain management, project management, passenger transport or retail operations.

All courses are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT)***

Transport and logistics is all about managing the flow of people, goods and services between the point of origin and the point of consumption in order to meet the requirements of customers. Dependent on your chosen course, key areas studied are passenger transport management and operations, physical logistics management and airline marketing and operations. Supply Chain Management (SCM) really looks at the bigger picture: how do goods make their way from being raw materials to our shelves, and increasingly important, how

can products that we don’t need any more, be used more sustainably in the future. SCM involves the integration of information, transportation, purchasing, production, inventory, warehousing, material handling and packaging. Courses have been designed in partnership with key companies within the industry, with some courses offering mentoring, guaranteed work placements and a guaranteed graduate job through the NOVUS scheme.** We have developed an innovative professional partnership with the NOVUS Trust, an industry led organisation dedicated to attracting and developing talent in logistics and the supply chain. The scheme, which applies to our Logistics and Supply Chain Management BSc(Hons) and our Business with Supply Chain Management BA(Hons) courses, is an excellent opportunity to develop a career in the dynamic logistics and supply chain industry and offers a unique set of valuable benefits.***
