Our teaching staff are leading experts in the areas of business and management

Our Business Management courses are designed to equip you for a management career in industry, commerce or the public sector. Management is necessary for each and every organisation and we aim to provide you with a detailed understanding of the relationship of management theories and the functional areas of business. You’ll have the opportunity to learn how to think creatively and become a team player. You’ll also receive a good introduction to legal, ethical, financial, social and economic factors and how they affect business. Companies also like problem solvers, so you’ll be supported to learn strategies for solving often complex issues by thinking laterally as well as logically. Once mastered, these skills are extremely transferable, from large manufacturing companies to smaller private firms, which is great. It means you’ll always be in demand to trouble shoot whatever comes your way.

Our teaching staff are leading experts in the areas of business and management. In addition, they are committed to providing a stimulating, supportive, friendly and well organised environment for students. Most of our staff have business experience as well as an academic background. Our courses have been developed in close association with employers and professional bodies, ensuring their relevance in meeting the challenges faced by modern businesses and aim to prepare you for today’s job market. This means our degree content is informed both by innovations in practice and developments in academic thinking.
