Early Action

Apply for admission to UK by December 1 and complete LLP, Housing and Dining applications by February 15. Early track applicants who want to participate in an LLP must accept their offer by May 22.

Members of an LLP will select their rooms beginning the week of March 4. Room Selection for non-LLP students will be conducted in waves based on a student’s Housing application completion date with the first wave beginning the week of June 3.

Housing application fee: $50 non-refundable, due at time of application.

REGULAR DECISION HOUSING AFTER JUNE 1*

Apply for admission to UK by February 15 and complete Housing and Dining application by June 1. Regular decision applicants who want to participate in an LLP must apply by May 15 and accept their offer by May 22.

Members of an LLP will select their rooms beginning the week of March 4 until May 22. Room Selection for non-LLP students will be conducted in waves based on a student’s Housing application completion date with the first wave beginning the week of June 3

Housing application fee: $50 non-refundable, due at time of application.

Check Application Summary page within the application for room, roommate, LLP and dining information. New students may cancel their Housing and Dining Applications and Contracts before June 1 without incurring penalty fees.

* Housing assignments are based on the admissions decision track (early or regular) and a student’s Housing application completion date. Acceptance into a Living Learning Program designates the specific residence hall. Applying early for Housing is strongly encouraged. After June 1, only students who have confirmed their enrollment may participate in Room Selection. If a new student participates in Room Selection and does not confirm attendance to UK by June 1, they could lose their room assignment.

Students must select a meal plan by July 14 or they will be assigned the default plan (All Access White) for Fall 2024.
