Join the #GreenandGold Competing…

If you’d like to represent the University of Nottingham, then we have over a hundred teams competing in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) leagues and events each year. These teams will host home fixtures on campus and travel to play against other universities. We have a proud history of sporting success and have been in the top ten of the BUCS league tables for 30 years. Last year University of Nottingham teams won over 40 league titles and our national champions included the men’s and women’s table tennis teams, women’s squash and individual titles from Li Lian Yang in the women’s badminton singles and Hana Ramadan in the women’s squash singles.

Many of our teams compete in the BUCS weekly leagues against other universities to win league titles and reach national finals and they need as many of you as possible to head out and support. In 2018, the University of Nottingham has been selected to host BUCS Big Wednesday – a huge event marking the culmination of the BUCS team sport programme. Taking place on 20 and 21 March 2018, the #GreenandGold will be going all out to make the home advantage count. Check out the latest results across our social media channels (@UoNSport) and via our website where you can download the latest fixture list.
