How to apply

To make your application to Salford smooth and stress-free, follow this step-by-step guide.

YOUR APPLICATION

You should apply for your chosen course as soon as you can and certainly no later than one month before the course is due to start. International students can have deadlines that are much earlier, for further information visit: salford.ac.uk/international/apply Courses typically begin in September, with many programmes also offering alternative start dates in January. A number of programmes also offer different entry points throughout the year. To see when the next available entry for your course is visit the relevant course page at salford.ac.uk There’s plenty of helpful information available throughout the application process, but our admissions team is on hand to guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have. STEP 2

You can re-enter and complete your application at times convenient to you.

If you’re waiting for transcripts or certificates from a course you’re currently taking, complete your application and you can upload your documents via the applicant portal.

When you’ve submitted your application, you’ll receive an email from us acknowledging receipt. We aim to consider your application as soon as we can but this can vary depending on whether you’re required to attend an interview. You’ll be notified of the outcome of your application in writing.

STEP 1

To apply, visit salford.ac.uk/ postgraduate/apply When you first enter the online application system you will be asked to create an account.

STEP 3

Upload your supporting documents: / Degree certificates / Transcripts or certificates demonstrating that you meet, or are likely to meet, the entry requirements for your course / If English isn’t your first language, evidence of your IELTS score / A copy of your passport if you’re coming to us from outside the EU.
