Pack your important documents and belongings

Check you have all the documents you will need when first arriving in the UK and carry them in your hand luggage. You will need some documents to show to UK Border Force officers, to us for your International Check-in and to confirm your taxi transfer:

/ Your passport.

/ Your Visa.

/ CAS letter (if you are coming to the UK as a Student Route visa holder).

/ Your TB certificate. You may be asked to show a TB screening certificate (depending on your country of origin) on arrival in the UK.

/ Your University of Salford offer letter and airport taxi transfer confirmation. You will need to show this to the taxi company if you have pre-booked a taxi transfer from the airport.

/ Travel and health insurance documents.

/ Documentary evidence of your finances and ability to pay your fees and support yourself whilst living in the UK.

/ Your sponsorship letter if applicable.

/ Documentary evidence of your qualifications (original documents of academic certificates and/or original official transcripts).

/ Original documentary evidence of your English language skills (if required).

/ Your ATAS Certificate (if required).

/ Driver’s licence (if you have one).

/ Any doctor’s letter outlining medical conditions or prescribed drugs (if required). International student
