ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

If English isn’t your first language, you’ll need a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 with no element below 5.5 or an equivalent English Language test approved by the University of Salford. Some courses require a score of 6.5 or higher. Please check the specific course entry requirements you are applying for on our website.

We recognise a range of other tests of proficiency in English as well as IELTS.

PRE-SESSIONAL ENGLISH

This English language programme is suitable if your English language is not at the right level for our courses. The course will prepare you to study at the University of Salford at a foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate level.
