USD’s unique engineering programs are the only ones in the nation that require all students to graduate with a dual BS/BA degree. By following a more extensive liberal arts curriculum, you’ll embark on your career with a much more balanced skill set than other graduates holding a “traditional” BS degree. Not only will you be equipped with the critical thinking, writing and communication skills to excel, you’ll have the real-world experience and global perspective to be a true Changemaking Engineer. We have also reimagined our computer science curriculum and added a new degree option to include a Bachelor of Science. IN N OVAT IO N S PAC ES

All degree programs at the University of San Diego have been accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) since 1956. Our electrical engineering, industrial and systems engineering, and mechanical engineering programs are also accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, Inc.
