Visiting San Diego Bartell Hotels University of San Diego formed a partnership with Bartell Hotels. Richard Bartell, a School of Law alumnus, opened the doors of his seven premier hotels to the USD community. The USD-Bartell Hotels partnership means you receive a special rate when you book your stay at one of the conveniently located Bartell Hotels in San Diego. A portion of the room cost comes back to USD to support student scholarships, promote university events and marketing efforts, and create community awareness about the partnership.

“We’re opening our doors to you and contributing to USD every time you visit.” — Richard Bartell ’75 School of Law

To take advantage of these special rates and USD family amenities, visit http://www.usdpartnership.com/ or call (800) 345-9995 to book your stay at any of the Bartell Hotels.

Pacific Terrace Hotel, Sheraton La Jolla, The Dana on Mission Bay, The Days Hotel – Hotel Circle SeaWorld, Holiday Inn San Diego Bayside, Best Western Plus Island Palms Hotel and Marina, Humphreys Half Moon Inn and Suites

Enjoy the summer and your student’s homecoming: Your student is home for the summer months. Listen as your student reflects on the past year, noting accomplishments and challenges as well as balancing both old and new friendships. Encourage your student to take advantage of

opportunities next year. Students who remain connected to programs, resources and groups designed to enhance learning, will be off to a great second year at USD. This is also an ideal time for parents and families to consider getting

involved with the campus by joining the Parent Ambassador Program, where you can volunteer with various on- and offcampus events — even from the comfort of your home. Visit the Office of Parent Relations at www.sandiego.edu/parents.
