PE R SONAL I ZED L E A R N I N G Our faculty are not only highly skilled practitioners, specialists and executives, but are also influential role models and mentors who help our students advance outcomes far beyond the imaginable. With classes averaging just 21 students and an open-door policy for all our faculty, a USD education allows for close connections among students and faculty. Those connections begin as early as a student’s first semester, when they are placed in a Living Learning Community (LLC) course that is limited to 24 first-year students and taught by a full-time faculty member who will serve as their academic advisor.
