Free-Tuition Eligibility ARGO 30 GUARANTEE The Argo 30 Guarantee is UWF’s commitment to ensuring students have access to higher education regardless of their financial situation. The Argo 30 Guarantee is available to new undergraduate students who are Florida residents, full-time Pell Grant eligible, and working toward their first undergraduate degree. The guarantee covers up to 30 credit hours of tuition and mandatory fees that are not covered by grants or scholarships. In other words, students who qualify pay no out-of-pocket costs for tuition and mandatory fees. All requirements must be met by the appropriate deadline for your first semester at UWF: uwf.edu/argo30

Transfer Scholarships AUTOMATIC-CONSIDERATION SCHOLARSHIPS Admissions application must be completed and all required documents, including official test scores (where applicable) and transcripts, received by the deadlines below in order to receive priority consideration for Admissions Academic Merit Scholarships.3 Transfer students are required to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the scholarship priority deadlines to be considered for scholarships. ADMISSIONS ACADEMIC MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS These potential scholarship amounts give you an idea of Admissions Academic Merit Scholarships based on undergraduate cumulative GPA. Amounts indicate cumulative potential award over two years or completion of an undergraduate degree, whichever comes first, for students who maintain scholarship eligibility. Students who are awarded a merit-based admissions scholarship will be notified after the scholarship priority deadline.

Additional Scholarships PHI THETA KAPPA (PTK) Members of PTK are encouraged to submit the FAFSA and send proof of membership at uwf.edu/ptk by the scholarship priority deadline for special scholarship consideration. The award totals $4,000 over two years and cannot be combined with other Admissions Academic Merit Scholarships. FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS Through the generous support of alumni, friends, corporations, foundations, and others, UWF is able to offer a variety of foundation scholarship opportunities to students who apply for summer/fall admission. After admission, students can apply for these scholarships through their my.uwf.edu account under the UWF Scholarship Portal. Deadlines and awards vary. 12019-2020. 2$7,323,834. 3The Office of Undergraduate Admissions can award students with only one academic scholarship; scholarships may not be combined. Students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree will not receive priority scholarship consideration. Some scholarships are renewable pending continued and verified eligibility, and others are one-time awards.
