SCHOLARSHIPS We recognize, and value the gifts and talents of the students who apply for admission. A wide variety of scholarships are available and every year we award approximately $300,000 in UW-Parkside Foundation Scholarships to our students. Applying is easy, your application for admission acts as your initial scholarship application. Students who may be eligible for scholarships will receive email notification from the university with steps to complete the next phase for scholarship consideration.

Out-of-State Scholarship Opportunities We value our out-of-state students. Students who meet specific academic requirements can qualify for the scholarships below, making even out-of-state tuition costs affordable. PHI THETA KAPPA Transfer: Graduated from an accredited community college with an AA or AS and an active member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Renewal requirement: 3.0 GPA DISTINGUISHED SCHOLAR New Freshman: Unweighted GPA of at least 3.50 Transfer: GPA 3.50 or above RANGER SCHOLAR New Freshmen: Unweighted GPA 3.25-3.49 Transfer: GPA 3.25-3.49 Renewal requirement: 2.75 GPA RECOGNITION SCHOLAR New Freshmen: Unweighted GPA 3.00-3.24 Transfer: GPA 3.0-3.24 Renewal requirement: 2.50 GPA Information on academic criteria is available at: uwp.edu/outofstatescholar

LEARN MORE Most students attending Parkside will receive some form of financial aid. To learn more about the types of financial aid that you may be eligible for, visit: uwp.edu/financialaid. All students are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), fafsa.gov, which is used for Pell Grants, state grants, work study, and student loans. Students may begin filling out the FAFSA starting October 1 for the following school year. Parkside’s FAFSA code is 005015, be sure to include this code on your FAFSA.
