Promotion and communication

ŚFN communication is based on the ongoing contact with our audience and partners, also between the specific Festival editions. We believe that the community gathered around our event appreciates the possibility of contact with science in different forms, which is why we use social media to transmit recordings of the most interesting performances, involve the audience in numerous campaigns (e.g. #NaukoweWyzwanieŚFN), as well as invite them to meetings with our ambassadors and speakers. We are strongly represented in the media which we have cooperated with for several years - thanks to the creativity of the Festival team, it is possible to involve journalists in promoting ŚFN. Promotion of each Festival edition consists of two stages - the first one concerns the recruitment of activities, and the second one is related to programme, guests and partners. During the second stage, we run a complex Polish nationwide advertising campaign on the Internet, in media and public space. We invite artists to prepare graphic designs and visual identification for us. Our collaborators include Szymon Nawrat, Marek Głowacki, PhD and Natalia Łukomska, PhD. Our promotional activities were appreciated in 2019 - 3rd Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE won recognition and the first place in the competition
