On the cover A bright and crisp January morning with yeste rday's snow hanging high in the trees and highl ighting the ruggedness of the rou nded stone architecture of Creelman Hall. Named in hono ur of George Christie Cre Ima n (1 869- 1929) , OAC ' 88, Ontario Agricultu ral College Pr sident from 1904 to 1920, the bu ilding was offici ally opened in Septe mber of 1914 and rests solid ly at the nonhero end of ever-busy and campus- pann ing Winegard Walk.
A dining hall since it was bu ilt , the structure undoubtedly ranks a one of Ihe mos t fam iliar landmarks on campus . holding fond memories for a great many alum ni. Following in the footste ps of President Geo rge Christie Creelma n, three of his decendents have passed through the portal o f Creelman Hall and graduated from O .A.C. The President was fo llowed by hi' late so ns, James, OAC '1 4, and Donald , OAC '27 A, and by his grand son and namesake, George hris tie Creelman, OAC '60 . 0
