THE CHANCELLOR

The chancellor presides at convocations, confers all University degrees and acts as an ambassador. As the University’s senior volunteer, the chancellor also represents its interests to all government levels and is an ex-officio voting member of the University’s Senate and the Board of Governors.

Martha Billes was named the University of Guelph’s ninth chancellor in April 2017.
