Build Potential for Promotion I have been working as a Business Analyst for three years. I enrolled in the Business Analysis Certificate program to enhance my career by combining my professional work experience with a university certificate. I completed seven courses and achieved a Business Analysis Certificate in less than four months. The sense of accomplishment is great. My perspective and knowledge of business analysis has evolved and given me confidence in my career choice. The volume of job opportunities has increased since I achieved the certificate and I’m now qualified to apply for positions that will raise my seniority and salary. Thanks to the certificate program I was promoted to a higher level Business Analyst position. This is the advantage I was seeking with the program. Tim, Business Analyst Celero Solutions

Undergraduate Programs Whether you’re a current university student, a working professional with a degree or someone looking to take a short program, our undergraduate certificates are the perfect choice for a variety of career paths. We offer flexibility with our programs so you can fit courses into your lifestyle and busy schedule. Most programs don’t require prerequisites and courses are available online, in the evening and on Saturdays.

Our undergraduate certificate programs are a great way to complement your degree for better or new career options, or to earn your first university credential. Talk to your academic advisor about using your open electives to complete a certificate. Ease into a Degree Program
Certificate programs can also help you ladder into a degree program. Instead of taking on a full degree program from the start, you can take smaller steps and discover your true interests before choosing which degree to pursue. Add Specific Industry Expertise to your Resume
An undergraduate certificate can help you stand out to employers, give you a competitive edge in the job market and equip you with new knowledge and skills. Get University Credit for Your Experience
If you have previous work or volunteer experience or skills training, you can potentially earn university credits to use toward your degree program with Prior Learning Assessment & Recognition (PLAR). Start a New Career Path
If you’re thinking about a career change, many of our programs can help you. Through industry-specific certificates or working toward a full degree, you’ll be able to get the education you need to find a new career path that’s right for you.

Benefit Personally & Professionally From Certificate Programs The Public Relations Certificate has been a journey of learning, developing and implementing skills that I use daily. The PR program has taught me to articulate my thoughts in a more professional and educated way. The skills I learned are very useful when you want to depict a thought or idea with your friends or at work. Handling yourself and saying what you mean is a trait your friends, family and coworkers will begin to notice and appreciate – mine did. Overall, the PR program has been a positive experience. It has taught me to be organized in my writing and to be specific about what I am trying to say. My eye has been trained to see detail I never noticed before, and slowly I have begun to let my personality show through my writing. Luanne, Bachelor of Business Administration & Public Relations Certificate
What We Offer: Undergraduate Certificates • Administration Level I & II • Public Relations • Local Government Authority • Extended Studies in Inclusive Education • Liberal Arts (Certificate & Diploma) Transition Programs • Prior Learning Assessment & Recognition • High School Accelerated Program • Casual Studies Visit www.uregina.ca/cce for all Career & Professional Development program details.

Before I came to Canada, I was not able to speak English. I just knew a few words and greetings. It was after I enrolled in the ESL customized program through my employer that everything changed. After taking my first few lessons I was able to communicate with my teacher and classmates. Also, I became more confident outside of the classroom, so I was capable of going to grocery stores and shopping centres without the fear of not being able to express myself and ask for information. KINDERMUSIK IMAGINE THAT!® (ages 3-4) Imagine That! is designed for active, energetic, enthusiastic and imaginative children ages 3-4. Classes encourage socializing, sharing and participating in group activities. TOYS I MAKE, TRIPS I TAKE
Think of it like taking a course inside a child’s imagination. We’ll use the theme of a toy shop to make our pretendcreations, using rhythm and songs with every imaginary saw, hammer and nail. The result is building the preschooler’s sense of a sequence of events, which is good for storytelling, as well as making his ideas a reality. Day

MUSIC MOVES Music Moves is an early childhood music program based on how children learn music. Although music is not a language, music is learned in much the same way that a language is learned. Children need to hear and experiment with extensive amounts of language before they actually learn to speak, read and write. With Music Moves children are exposed to a wide variety of music and are invited to experiment with it. Classes are based on Music Learning Theory – the natural progression of how children learn and process music. MUSIC MOVES FOR INFANTS (0-18 months)
Music Moves for infants provides a rich environment for children. Classes expose children to a wide repertoire of songs and chants. Many of the songs are performed without words, which helps children focus on the musical content. Teachers model

simple, creative movements and encourage children to move in a sustained, continuous and relaxed way. Props such as scarves, balls, egg shakers and hoops are utilized to help children engage with the music and movement. Day

MUSIC MOVES FOR MIXED AGES (0-4 yrs)
Depending on their own individual stage of development and temperament, some children will be active participants, while others will prefer to watch and absorb. Although a child may appear to be simply playing with or staring at the teachers – important music learning is taking place. Children are actively listening to a wide variety of music that provides the foundation for later music responses. Eventually, children begin to give random responses to the music, including their own “dances” and vocal babble. Gradually the movement responses become rhythmically accurate and the vocal explorations begin to sound more like music. As this occurs, children’s music vocabulary grows in leaps and bounds and they attain the music readiness for audiation – the ability to comprehend music. Day

SCOTTISH PIPE & DRUM Scottish piping and drumming is a unique and culturally rich musical style performed around the world. You DO NOT need to be Scottish to participate! Students learn both solo and band skills while working as a team to improve the band. The program’s goal is to help young players reach their musical potential in a supportive and fun learning environment. Instruction in bagpipes and snare and tenor/bass drums is based on Scotland’s Piping and Drumming Qualifications Board guidelines and on the long experience of the teaching staff in producing excellent musicians. BEGINNER BAGPIPES OR DRUM (ages 8+)
It all starts here with a fun-loving approach to music. First-year students learn on a practice chanter if learning the bagpipes; or the practice pad if learning the drums. Students learn to read music, grace note groups, basic music theory and a number of exercises and tunes. As well, students are exposed to what the CPA Pipe Band does – they get to meet and interact with the band members, engage in common activities

GEOLOGY: HISTORY OF THE EARTH
The world we know and love was not always as it is today. For 4.6 billion years our planet has changed through both imperceptibly slow and shockingly sudden events. The plants, animals, environments, minerals and landforms of our planet have meandered down a rough and twisting path as they journeyed together through time – and it may have turned out much differently had events played out in another way. Come and listen to a story written into the very stones beneath our feet and emblazoned on the stars above us – the geological history of Earth! Note: No class Feb 15. Day
