Explanation of the Graph: The “X” axis gives the height of the vehicle in mm. This is measured from the lip of the wheelarch to the centre of the axle. The “Y” axis gives the weight of the vehicle. We load the vehicle to 1,5 times the maximum permitted axle load. This gives an indication of the load imposed on the springs when the vehicle hits a big bump in the road. On the graph, you can see the height difference and how much load the springs are taking from the original suspension. We keep a digital photographic record of the suspension during the tests as a reference to answer any queries.
