Services available for kids at Caldwell & Steinbring–Dentistry For Children include nitrous oxide for certain procedures, oral conscious sedation, and IV sedation with an anesthesiologist in the office. “Many kids are just nervous,” explains Dr. Caldwell. “And sometimes the younger ones can’t tolerate the work, or the amount of work makes them scared to come back. These options are a great service to some of our children, including the many special needs patients we see.”
