Mirra Model Management Co-Founder Blessing Zonke 'Kuno Fresh" Mawela

I'm Blessing Zonke 'Kuno Fresh" Mawela. The co-founder & manager of an agency called Mirra Model Management Pty. Ltd, brand ambassador of a clothing brand RASBTEES and B.ed student at the University of Johannesburg (UJ). I was born & raised in Mpumalanga in a trust called eDwaleni in the Mbombela City (Kabokweni). Arts and education is what drives my spirit and life. As a manager at Mirra Model my duties are organising of events, pageants, photo shoots & recruiting of models. I also work as a freelancing sales man for various clothing brands amongst those are Catwalk, OneTime, Love Birds Clothing & UJ clothing I remember when I fell in love with arts it was the year 2008 during in my primary (grade 6) school years when I joined a group called Room13 which exposed me to the world of arts & I also got the opportunity to work experienced individuals such as Maurice Tivane, Vusi Mhlunge & Zimbabwean talented painter & poet Ishmael Moyo. As I was at ROOM13 I got the opportunity to do theatre, music, visual arts & acting. I left ROOM13 when I did my grade 11 in 2013 when I had to focusing on my school work. I went on in 2014 after finishing my grade 12 and opened an arts & music group called SAYDO (South African Youth Development Organisation- Kabokweni Branch) in my community which lasted 7 months before I went to Johannesburg to start with my Education studies in 2016. In 2017, I met a friend of mine (Bongane Mahlombe) which introduced me to business & clothing. I worked with Bongane at RASBTEES at Maboneng store in the MOAD from 2017 to this day where the shop had grown to operate at End Street Mall. Rasbtees the brand is co- ambassadored by Zimbabwean Comedian @Chik_Aljoy In 2018, with a team of people (Bongane Mahlombe, Suprise Zwane, Mbongiseni Siyenga, Sunnyboy Mlombo, Mhlengi Dlamini & myself) Mirra Model Management Pty Ltd was formed and to this day the company has miraculously done so much. We hosted a number of photoshoots for clothing brands, rented out models for extras, Music Videos , series, Mzansi Bioskop actors & a lot more. Mirra Model Management hosted 'Miss Spring Jozi 2018' With Mirra Model Management I worked with Mrs. SA 2nd Princess 2018 (Makoana Nhlebela), Middleburg's pageantry multi-title holder (Portia Tolo), Big names we've worked with Aliboy, Victor B, Sifundo Dladla, KayGeeWise SA, Sugar, Crow, SkotsiFontein, Thabo bone breaker & Abi the Tap dancer Talent & production agencies: Yebisa Bongo Music (Ybm), Sowetall Talents & Anelisiwe Moti. My everyday motto: IF IT'S NOT ME, THEN THERE'S NO ONE WHO CAN DO WHAT I WANT TO DO. I believe that in order to achieve, you need to start doing regardless of the situation you're under. Success & what you want is not determined by people but yourself. It all starts when an individual has removed fear AND In order for any individual to do it, they have to be optimistic about life, focus on what they want, put in the work & build viable legit connections & results will manifest. Really, nothing is impossible even the word says I'm possible.
