Wilfred Bafana Mothwa (born 17 February, 1989) also known as Auth3ntiC, is a South African rap/hip hop artist, record producer and entrepreneur from the town of Mamelodi in Pretoria. Auth3ntiC founded AMPlis Records Production in 2005 before completing high school.
Born into a business orientated family, Auth3ntiC draws his inspiration and high acumen from his mother Alexandria Fundile Mothwa who was a domestic worker and built a food catering empire, and his late father Simon Zondiwe Mothwa, a football player for Orlando Pirates FC.

South African Music Producer Auth3ntiC debuted his album on June 26, 2020, an album featuring talented young African musicians, the Do Your Own Thing album can be streamed on all digital platforms. When Auth3ntiC was in the process of creating his album, South Africa was going through its lowest point, this was a time of xenophobic attacks were taking place. This is when the music producer’s mind immediately went into action and had an amazing concept for the Nigerian Singer & Songwriter Lizz Kalo and the song Baleka was created.
