Clyde

My name is Katlego Clyde Peu from a town called Phalaborwa in Limpopo. Started rapping in 2014, I was brought into the music industry by a friend Casto Rocha stage name Tee.y and our producer at the time Bonney. I stopped in 2015 because I had no studio to record due to our producer leaving to further his studies in Pretoria. In 2017 I started freestyling for fun with Tee.y and Wisani Kobisa stage name xstWeezy whom I share my love and passion for music with. Still with no studio to record, we heard a kid from our neighborhood was putting together his own studio and making music, he goes by the name 8teen (Surprise Molewa) We began to work together and till this day he produces our songs. He started an "informal" record label called 18hundred entertainment or 18Ent. For short The label features 8teen, Tee.y an myself Clyde.

My music was mainly influenced by conscious rappers such as Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Ab-Soul and The Game I try to blend conscious and commercial music so I also have an ear for commercial artists such as Travis Scott, Nasty C, A-Reece and the Migos In high school I developed a love for English as I enjoyed Creative writing and poetry which were a huge factor for me to consider becoming an artist. The one thing you should know about me is that I simply enjoy manipulating the English Language I lean to music for comfort as it helps me express myself by penning down my emotions or creative work. It helps me face my every day struggles
