Brenna Karonga professionally known as Tanny-T aka Lil Wavy is an Up and Coming hip hop artist based in Cape Town. He was born in Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe. Tanny moved to Cape Town in 2017 along with his family. Tanny-T has no definite meaning but according to Tanny it means a person who wants to shed some light and motivate the kids to bring a better life. Tanny started as a fan of an RnB artist called Chris Brown and later started songwriting at an age 13 but wasn ’t much exposed to the hip hop industry and didn ’t know any producers or studios around, he even started recording on a laptop but didn ’t like the quality. In the late December of 2020, one of his artist Friend, Yvng Tuchie, introduced him to Agent Riley a producer at Dirty Sprite Mafia and recorded my first Original song called Ain ’t Eazy. Ever since he has been recording in at Dirty Sprite Mafia and is looking forward to releasing his Second track featuring Yvng Tuchie which will be dropping on the 30 May.
