MY MODELLING JOURNEY

I am Zimkhitha Swelinkomo , born and raise in a small town called Lusikisiki. I am the current Miss Eastern cape top model 2019/2020.I started modelling in 2019 when i fell in love with photography. I love working with people and meeting new people to travel, this helps me a lot so i can be able to learn new things about modelling.

I am a Fashion and Runway model, I’ve been doing many fashion shows at Kings Williams town, Eastern cape. I have been modelling for brands, NDIMBI Clothing brand which emphasizes the beauty of acceptance and Fabric Immortal Dialogue clothing Brand which is about exchanging fashion ideas.

In November 2019 I entered Miss Eastern cape Top model online voting competition. The competition is based on Facebook likes, you win according to the number of likes you got. The person with the highest likes wins the competition. I was the one with highest likes and I won the competition, I am now Miss Eastern cape top model 2019/2020. This is such an amazing journey, now we are busy doing photoshoots for it. This is about inspiring young upcoming models in the Eastern cape and the whole communities. We are now heading to SA top model which will take place around mid-June.

I love modelling, Youth has been coming to me asking for me to help them to become models, this made me realise that one day I have to open my own modelling agency so that I can be able to help them, modelling inspires me it gives me the confidence I never thought I would have because when I grew up I was very shy but modelling helped me to overcome that , it makes me to be the good and loving person each day.
