Who is Ofentse? Ofentse Fefe Pitso is a young lady from Soweto and a proud Sowetan. She is a Conquer, She empowers, She is Fearless and She Inspires. She is a founder of a Non-profit organisation that helps girls with self-confidence, selfesteem, self-image and self-love.

When and how did you start modelling? I fell in love with Modelling when I used to accompany my sister to her Modelling classes. She introduced me to Modelling at the age of 7 years but was never exposed much to the industry because my parents didn't understand it. When I was in grade 8, I started checking out castings on newspapers to see agencies looking for models. I got in the industry when I was in grade 9, when I did my first photoshoot �, I was now a normal child and could smile again. I grew up having funny teeth and that contributed to me being rejected and also growing with low self-esteem.

What do you think about beauty pageants? I honestly think beauty pageants have helped many girls to grow up into being confident leaders. I love how they transform one's personality. I also love the fact that they now focusing on the inner being of a person and not only the outer being, I mean they now focusing on different attributes of a person and not only their beauty. Beauty pageants are now about building community leaders and not only building a person to being beautiful and not bringing change to the community. Beauty queens contribute a lot of change to the communities. They help groom young girls on how to behave and they also prepare people for the real world.

We always hear about human trafficking, do you know anyone who went missing? I do not know anyone who went missing due to human trafficking. What other jobs does modelling prepare you for? In your own opinion [06/30, 21:27] My Number: They prepare one not to be shy, meaning that you are always ready for any interview you come to. Modelling prepares one to be business orientated.

You have years of experience in modelling, what are you doing with you experience now? I am sharing my Modelling experience to anyone who wants to get in the industry and has no clue. I mentor so many young girls to make sure they don't sell themselves in the wrong way to the public, and for them not to be scammed in the industry.

Can anyone become a model? If yes what should they have? Yes, anyone can be a model. There are different types of models needed in the industry. You just have to appreciate who you are and how you to make it in the industry. Modelling is not about being pretty, being petite, having a flat tummy and also looking beautiful, it actually caters for different things. She is passionate about community outreaches and helping people, doesn't do it for recognition but from the goodness of her heart. Ofentse is a leader, public relations student & a model. I am a girl with many hidden talents.

Can you tell us about your career? What have you done? What do you have planned? Fashion shows, tried pageants and I do a lot of photoshoots... I recently tried being an extra. I'm paving my way to taking part into pageants and would love to do more fashion shows.
