U@home user register

4. Purpose of data file

The register contains personal and user information about the registered users of U@home service.

The purpose of the use of the register is to enable the handling and maintenance of U@home service as well as other business relationship between the registered user and the controller or any of its group companies. The controller or its group company may also use the information to plan and develop the business activities of the controller or its group companies as well as to conduct marketing activities. 5. Contents of the data file

The following information may be collected: - name - address - country - telephone number - email address - personal password - installation ID - installation description - number of shares and votes

6. Regular sources of data The source of the information included in the register is the registered user himself/herself. 7. Regular disclosure of data and the transfer of data outside the EU or the EEA

The information may be disclosed by the controller to its group companies and to third parties who participate in the production or upkeep of the U@home service. The information may be stored on the server of a third party provider. The information will not be transferred outside the EU or the EEA.

8. Principles of data security

The information will be mainly stored electronically. The information is stored in locked premises with restricted access and protected by an user ID and a password. All physical copies of the information, if any, will be stored in locked premises. Only certain designated employees of the controller, its group company or third party providers have access to and the right to process the information stored in the register.

9. Access and implementing right of access

The registered user has the right to inspect the provided information and to receive a written copy of the provided information. The registered user wishing to inspect the provided information shall present a written request to the contact person and address stated in Section 2 above.

10. Rectification and implementing right of

The registered user has the right to request rectification of provided information. The registered user wishing to rectify the provided data

shall present a written request to the contact person and address stated in Section 2 above. The controller may on its own initiative rectify, erase or supplement data contained in the register if it is erroneous, unnecessary, incomplete or obsolete as regards the purpose of the register. The controller shall notify any such action to those whose information is concerned. However, there is no duty of notification if this is impossible or unreasonably difficult.
