Plumbing: Branch & Manifold Systems : PEX & MLC MLC Plumbing • Press Fittings from 12-75mm. • Screw Fittings from 12-25mm. • Clamp Fittings for 90-110mm. • Pipe Coils 12-32mm. • Pipe Straights 16-110mm. MLC Pipe & System • Form stable - the bends stay in place, making the system quick to install while using fewer fittings. • Lightweight and available in coils or straight lengths – even large diameter pipes can be handled by one person. • Linear expansion rates closer to copper than other plastics, pipes stay straight. Integral aluminium layer makes • the pipe oxygen tight. • Complete range - Pipe-in-pipe, branch and manifold systems available. • WRAS approved and NHBC standard compliant.

PEX Plumbing

• UK dimnesions;

MLC Fittings • Press fit joints with internal seal – made very quickly, saving labour time and are truly secure; surface damage from cabling has no impact on joint integrity. Safe cold jointing, no hot work • certificates required and no fire hazards on site.

PEX 15mm Underfloor Heating • Diffusion resistant 15mm, 5 layer PEX pipe. • Manufactured and Kitemarked to BS7291. • Available in coils from 25m to 200m which are light and easy to carry. Small area packs available in 3 • sizes: up to 14m2, 14-28m2 and 29-38m2. MLC 16mm Underfloor Heating

• 16mm, 5 layer composite pipe. • Aluminium layer for formstability, low expansion rate and 100 oxygen diffusion tight. • WRAS approved. • Available in coils from 50m to 500m. • Small area packs available in 3 sizes : up to 14m2, 14-28m2 and 29-38m2.

PEX 20 Underfloor heating • 20mm PEX pipe with its’ wider pipe spacings reduces the amount of pipe required and the number of loops from the manifold. • The highly robust pipe construction withstands the everyday rigours of onsite working. • Modular manifolds which can be built up to the required number of flow and returns creates flexibility in system design. Individual technical design allows • varied parameters, in particular to benefit from the use of low temperature heat sources. • Systems available for all floor construction systems/methods. • Live tested for over 30 years in an over-temperature/over-pressure configuration.

Simply more... control. The overall efficiency and effectiveness of any heating system is directly related to the system control. By investing in control, customers will in return receive a more efficient system with increased controllability, creating a more comfortable environment for the occupants.

Uponor Manifold Systems Uponor’s new range of manifolds have been specifically designed with your heating and plumbing system in mind. Suitable for various applications in domestic and commercial buildings loops can be isolated via electrically operated actuators, allowing Uponor’s innovative controls to be integrated into the system. • Higher efficiency due to advanced controls • Increased thermal comfort for occupants • Independent control over each circuit • Less fittings required and none under the floor • One central point for isolating each circuit

Uponor Control Systems • The latest edition to the Uponor Control System has a choice of Radio and Wired thermostats which are now available to suit the varying need of home owner and the commercial client. • Uponor Control System Radio maximises the use of new technology and universal compatibility to offer the end user a modern, stylish looking controls system, with practical and ‘easy to navigate’ features, completed with total temperature accuracy. • The use of wireless technology allows for flexible thermostat positioning and benefits the installer by fast and simple installation.

Underfloor Heating Benefits Very comfortable • No ‘hot heads or cold feet’. • Does not promote floor draughts. • No drying of the air. • Reduced dust levels - Beneficial to allergy sufferers, asthma etc. Unobtrusive • Walls left completely clear. • Floors and walls are easier to clean. Quiet • No creaks and groans, especially in solid floors. Safe • No hot surfaces or sharp edges • Nothing to vandalise. Complements other aspects of heating • Keeps options open for water heating : Solar energy, heat pumps. Cost effective installation

• Less damage & less pilferage. • Installable in most stages of the construction process. Lower running costs

• Low maintenance & no redecoration.
