SARA’S GARDEN
Winter’s Gift These short days and long nights offer the gift of time. Gardeners love time! Not having it is one of the biggest roadblocks to starting, having, maintaining and enjoying what we are selling here, gardening! We relish these few weeks for the opportunity it gives us all. One thing we do with this gift is visualize our garden design plans as a finished project. This exercise helps coalesce all the pieces in your brain. We literally create a mini movie in our mind; plant combinations, textural contrasts, bloom successions, shared plant requirements and more. Do this and your subconscious is already on its way to making the goal a reality, write it all down and you solidify the concept even more. These steps really do help turning visions into reality. During these valuable days of winter, you should seize the opportunity to use this gift and visualize your garden to be; choose the tomatoes, plan the porch pots, re-design the whole front of the house! Our website has a plant database with info and photos, you can call or email us and get real-time advice and availabilities… or sometimes you just need affirmation. Whatever the vision needs, we are here to help. We want to bring your vision to fruition too! Stonewall Follies 2017 Visualizing some stone work this year? Stonewall Follies 2017 will get you there. Visit our Facebook page and see the work from 2016, you will see some exceptional people doing some impressive things with stone. The session sells out quickly, so if your vision includes stone, shoot us an email and get on the list. Internationally renowned waller, John Shaw-Rimmington and a special guest will teach and inspire, two things you will want when realizing your vision. Please check out John’s blog… an inspirational read http://thinking-stoneman.blogspot.com/ For information on the Follies, garden event and rental or any other garden related topic contact Kathy: kkepler@rochester.rr.com or (585)637-4745
