May and June are arguably the most exciting months in the garden and there's lots to do. It’s tempting to work sunup ‘til sundown. But I love the message in this issue's almanac (page 28): “ . . . take care of yourself. Gardening is hard work.” Sometimes the best thing to do it sit in the garden and just enjoy the sunlight on your face. Don’t overdo it!
