Thursday, September 18 Some people are just born with the ability to get along with everyone, and Shawna Zayed, is one of those people. When you are around her, you immediately feel at ease. “ I am a cashier, and I like that I am the first and last person the customer sees, I want to make sure they leave happy.” Shawna brings an amazing attitude and great customer service to The Food Court, even though she has only been part of the team for a few weeks. She is already on a first name basis with several guests! Shawna credits her New Orleans upbringing for her southern hospitality and friendly nature. She has been in the service industry for over 20 years, and just last month joined the Sodexo team. Making friends with the customers and her co-workers comes naturally to her and their welcoming attitude brings a smile to her face daily. Shawna has a passion for baking and one day hopes to own her own Bed and Breakfast. She believes that her time with The Food Court is helping to develop skills that will be crucial to her reaching her goals in the future. Until she owns her own business, Shawna recommends that guests try the Salisbury steak and the Bread Pudding. “They are delicious!” .
