Planting Trees on a School Campus

In February, we welcomed our 10th class of Citizen Foresters to the Up With Trees family. At 32 students, our largest class to date, we filled the room to help Tulsa County citizens learn about the urban forest we live in, how to care for trees in their own backyard, and encouraged them to get outside to make an impact in the community.

This four-part program focuses on the P’s of Trees: Planning, Planting, Preserving, and Promoting. Each class opportunity is led by local arborists, and the field training opportunities range from soil analysis to planting and
