ingredients

serves one ° ½ teaspoon granulated sugar (more to taste) ° 1 teaspoon lime juice ° 4 fresh strawberries, 3 hulled and sliced, plus 1 (garnish) ° 3 ounces gin ° club soda ° fresh mint sprig (garnish)

Combine sugar and lime juice in a glass. Mix to dissolve sugar. Add sliced strawberries and smash slightly. Fill the glass with ice and add gin. Add a splash of club soda and garnish with more strawberries and mint sprigs.
