I came into my own as an artist in 2005 and enjoyed a twenty-eight-year career in non-profit prior to exploring the art world. Drawing has always been part of my life. I’ve taken occasional workshops after my first two years of weekly study from many qualified instructors, some masters rated. The typical medias were part of my studies coupled with composition, value, and technique. Oils now encompass eighty percent of my work, with bold and broad style, and subjects covering a surprising range! Check out my upcoming show in August at the Centers for Art and Education in Van Buren. Their new museum on Main in Van Buren will open early winter of 2022.
