Mixed Daal Recipe
Ingredients Required
split masoor gram
- 1/4 cup
bengal gram
split green gram
- 2 tbs
split black gram
- 1 tbs
turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp
dry mango powder
- 1/2 tsp
coriander leaves
- 1 tbs
Ghee
- 2 tsp
Salt
- to taste
- 2 tbs
How To Cook 1st step
Wash and soak the grams together for half an hour. Pressure cook in 3 cups water along with turmeric powder to a soft consistency. Mix lightly and set aside.
2nd step
Grind all the ingredients of the paste using as little water as needed.
3rd Step
Heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan. Add little cumin seeds, as soon as they crackle add the paste and continue to sautĂŠ for 3-4 minutes. Add dry mango powder, cooked gram, 1 cup warm water and salt and allow to simmer for 5-7 minutes.
4th And last Step
Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve.
