Urban Royal (UR) Magazine is a 100+ page bi-monthly magazine promoted and advertised around the world. Founded in Benin City and a department of Hex Entertainment, it was created to be a trendy, eccentric, entertainment magazine that discusses current events, music, film, fashion, lifestyles, poetry, & art as it affects the south-south region of Nigeria exclusively. UR focuses its attention on promoting the diversified talents in the south-south. It aims at promoting south-south indigenes(both old and emerging) who are unique and passionate about what they do or have to offer. . The content of the magazine will include celebrity interviews telling fans how they got started, the new things going on in their lives as well as their point of view on certain issues; review of books, films, as well as ratings on the hottest spots around, including restaurants, clothing stores, clubs, jewellery stores etc. With strict adherence to the highest standards in professional journalism, our stories will remain unbiased and factbased. We will not report on rumours, gossip or scandals. All of our content, from the interviews we publish to the products we feature are carefully selected to ensure they gratify the needs of our upscale and sophisticated demographic.

UR covers the south-south region of Nigeria which includes Akwa Ibom (the land of promise), Bayelsa State (The Land of promise), Cross Rivers (The People’s paradise), Delta (The Big Heart), Edo(Heart base of the nation) and Rivers State( Treasure base of the nation) respectively. We have just printed 5,000 copies of our maiden edition and given them away for free in these regions.
