Gardens inside selfsustaining communities make organic food production feasible. Gardens in these areas may even improve the value of a home over time, which is wonderful for investors. Participating in community activities has been shown to provide health advantages for community members. In general, cheap housing boosts the local economy, creates jobs, and gives towns access to a bigger workforce to meet existing employee demands.
