Julia Eisenberg, PhD Associate Professor, Management and Management Science Lubin School of Business

Professor Julia Eisenberg’s research interests include collaboration among individuals and teams, leadership, and technology with a focus on distributed organizational context. She has more than 10 years of experience in the financial industry, having worked for Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan Private Bank, and Morgan Stanley as a product developer and manager in the technology and the finance divisions. Since joining the Lubin School of Business in 2014, Professor Eisenberg has taught a range of undergraduate and graduate courses such as Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, and Negotiations, among others.

Professor Eisenberg has been involved in a variety of student-focused activities from organizing events to being a panel moderator. She often engages in career-related discussions with students, utilizing her industry background. She also works on a variety of research projects with students, including undergraduate honors theses, graduate research projects, and doctoral dissertations.

Professor Eisenberg continually attends domestic and international conferences to present her research. She actively publishes and serves as a reviewer for a number of leading management journals. In 2016, a paper co-authored by Professor Eisenberg received the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Communication and Media. In 2018, Professor Eisenberg was one of the recipients of the Distinguished Research Award from the Institute for Global Business Research. In 2019, a paper co-authored by Professor Eisenberg received the Academy of Management Careers Division Best International Paper award.
