News organisations are still geared towards a broadcast, one-way interaction model. Yet, they long for a conversation with their audience. Voice devices could help bridging that gap. News could be broken up into core component atoms with richer metadata so you can find exactly what you want, when you want it. Voice could play a pivotal role in helping news providers building conversations and engage in a deeper, more meaningful and personalised relationship with audiences.

UK panelist: Mike Butcher, Editor-at-Large at TechCrunch, Co-founder of Techhub network and advisor to Mayor of London on digital 12:30pm-1:30pm Fairmont Manchester EFG, 101 Red River
As AI and machine learning are rapidly growing, they’re being applied to creative fields like art, photography, music, video and more.
