Commercial

Cineplex at Erin Mills Mall in Mississauga is one of the interesting commercial projects. It contains six theaters and rec room.

The biggest challenge was the coordination with Existing Building and Site conditions and to keep the building complying with the code requirements.

My role was updating Floor plans, Elevations and sections, to coordinate with Engineers documents, preparing Wall sections, Enlarged Plans, and Plan & Sections details.

I reviewed shop drawings and issued Site Instructions, Change Notices, and change directives.

Lake Shore Blvd West – Residential Tower

Mixed-use building consisting of two towers 18 and 35 storeys in total height, above a 6-storey podium. The Proposed Development at 2256 Lake Shore Boulevard West in the City of Toronto.

I prepared the four building elevations, two sections and updated the floor plans as required and in coordination with renderings of the building

Residential High Rise building of four underground parking levels, one Podium, and west & east tower (26 and 27 storeys respectively). The building has outdoor Amenities on Level 4 and 7.

One of the critical aspects was the phasing of the project and the wind study.

My role was preparing the Elevations and Sections and coordinate it with wind study and demonstrate various materials in Elevations

Building

Residential mid-rise building of three underground parking levels, ground level consisting of commercial shops, and eleven residential levels. In addition to indoor and outdoor amenities at fifth level, there is outdoor activities area at roof level.

I prepared the set of drawings and required schedule for SPA submission including Floor Plans, Elevations, Sections, 3D renderings, and car parking & Bike schedule along with other required statistics

2839 Jane St., Toronto – Mid -Rise Residential Building
The design of the building was inspired from project location at Jane St. and Yorkwoods intersection representing two masses wrapped around creating a centre mass indicating the main building entrance. The inclined roof added a unique characteristic outline to define the roof amenities.

One of the challenges was how to accommodate the required number of parking spaces in a limited area of land and without disturbing the wetland line which was very crucial

Emarati Housing Development United Arab Emirates

This project located in Al Ain City with 3000 villas for Emarati Housing which lays in the target plan of 30,000 villas in 2030. The villa includes three bedrooms and three bathrooms and guest room (with bathroom) in ground floor and a separate Majlis which is for daily men gathering.

As senior Architect, I reviewed material submittals and shop drawings. I modified the Floor Plans as requested by client

I participated in weekly technical meetings and biweekly management meetings to overcome the problems at site in the constructions phase .

Ritz Carlton Resort

Abu Dhabi - UAE

Ten hospitality buildings enclosing outdoor area and central swimming pool opens to the Khor creating a magnificent scenery beach

■ Ritz Carlton Resort in Abu Dhabi which includes ten hotel buildings, two groups of total 84 chalets, and the Venetian style village consisting of multiple condominium apartment buildings.

■ High rise residential building consists of 3 Basement, Ground floor, Mezzanine floor, 3 Parking floors, Amenity, and 28 typical floor, locates in Reem Island in Abu Dhabi, which is a major urban node within Abu Dhabi City in United Arab Emirates, its new heart and metropolitan center.

Melody Homes, Abu Dhabi, UAE

A residential project in Reem island. The project is a luxurious smart duplex condominium apartments with amenity level at ground included gyms, swimming pools and entertainment rooms with am magnificent scenery view on lagoon.

Villa Complex in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

A complex of five villas on one plot, each villa was of five bedrooms (one in first level and four in second level) and a guest room.

A common indoor area with a swimming pool was created to overcome the hot weather of the country. The complex had ten parking lots, two for each villa.

One of several schools in Iraq designed and built with UN grant to overcome the shortage in basic educational institutions (primary, intermediate, and secondary schools). The design criteria included future expansion in classrooms and activity spaces. Also includes a multi purpose hall for occasional civic events
