When and Where to Receive Vein Treatment in Florida

Vein insufficiency can be difficult to treat without the right guidance. From spider veins to varicose veins, vein insufficiency takes on multiple forms and can affect any part of your body, most commonly though are the legs and arms. However, how do you know you suffer from vein insufficiency? When should you seek venous insufficiency treatment? These questions and more are asked every day to our vein specialists at the USA Vein Clinics. During each patient consultation, we discuss the symptoms, signs, diagnosis, and treatment options available for vein insufficiency. For some, venous insufficiency treatment is relatively simple and consists of basic lifestyle changes and prescription medication. Most, however, will require one of our non-surgical procedures to thoroughly treat venous insufficiency. Before you begin to search for one of our vein treatment centers in Florida, here are a few tips to help you decide when and where to receive treatment. 1 - If you suffer from spider veins and are displeased by the appearance, vein treatment is an option. For most patients of ours who have spider veins, we prescribe a series of Sclerotherapy. Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive non-surgical procedure where a saline solution is injected into the problem vein. This saline solution irritates the vein wall, causing it to deteriorate and turn into scar tissue. Over time, the scar tissue will be absorbed by the surrounding muscle and tissue, decreasing the visual appearance of spider veins. The procedure is performed in our clinic and you will be released within a few hours upon completion. Most patients will resume their daily actives the same day! 2- If you suffer from varicose veins and your mobility is limited as a result as them, Endovenous laser therapy may be for you. Endovenous laser therapy is a simple, nonsurgical procedure where a small needle is inserted into the problem veins with the visual assistant of an ultrasound. Once in the vein, a laser is released, damaging the vein wall. Like Sclerotherapy, the vein will deteriorate over time, turning into scar tissue. This procedure allows blood flow to be rerouted through other, properly working veins, decreasing the chance of reoccurring symptoms. Patients experience relief from their symptoms within the weeks following the procedure with little to no complications. 3 - If you live in Florida and wish to consult one of our vein specialists, please schedule an appointment at our Hallandale clinic conveniently located in Hollywood. At our new vein treatment center in Florida, you will be properly diagnosed for your vein illness and condition by one of our vein specialists. Then, our medical staff will advise you on which treatment options are best suited for your diagnosis. Perfectly situated in between the large metropolitan areas of Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, it is easier than ever to begin your venous insufficiency treatment!
